Creative GenAI at Meta
Meta’s creative GenAI features help advertisers produce stronger campaigns, including automating copy generation, adapting creative to different audiences, and translating text and video assets. As Content Design lead for GenAI text generation, I am deeply involved in the vision for AI-generated ad texts, overlays, and translation. Partnering with research, visual design, and engineering, I design end-to-end experiences grounded in user needs, ensure transparency through user education, remove friction from complex workflows, and influence model improvements to ensure high-quality outputs.

I led content design for Meta’s GenAI text generation for advertisers, spearheading targeted experiments and user research to inform a comprehensive redesign planned for 2026. My work spans co-creating advertiser questionnaire strategies with user research, strengthening localization for global advertisers, and collaborating with legal, integrity, and privacy teams to ensure compliant, transparent communication.

I led content design for the upcoming launch of an ad translation section in the Creative Setup in Ads Manager, which includes text translation, dubbing, and translation of text overlays.

Many advertisers struggle with Meta’s fragmented and complex surfaces. To address this, I drove major improvements in usability by triaging and prioritizing 100+ issues identified through peer benchmarking, advertiser interviews, and internal dogfooding. ● Additionally, I led a GenAI content-design experimentation pilot focused on reducing friction and establishing clearer patterns across products.
